What is Love 30th Anniversary collection? 

The iconic Love mug is turning 30 years  in 2026. Moomin Arabia’s Love mug has been in production for the longest time of all Moomin mugs, since 1996. With its adorned illustration, the 0.3-litre mug is by far the most popular across all markets. The 30th anniversary of the beloved mug sets a theme for the entire year of 2026.

The highlight of the Love collection will be the special anniversary edition of the 0.3-litre Love mug. The inside of the mug features an adorable pair of Moomins standing snout to snout with pink hearts flying above them. Next to the illustration, there's a confession of love, written in a cute handwriting style.

The full collection will include a vast array of items from ceramics and glassware to textiles and decorative pieces for the kitchen, dining room and living room, repeating the different Moomintroll and Snorkmaiden scenes of the illustration of the iconic Love mug.

An anniversary stamp is featured on the bottom of the special anniversary edition of the mug and the other Love dining ceramics, all available only until the end of year 2026, or as long as the stock lasts.

 

Is the collection only available for a limited time?

The Love ceramics with the anniversary bottom stamp and Love glassware will be available only until the end of year 2026, or as long as the stock lasts. 
The anniversary mug, mini plate and mini figurine are available in limited quantities, and it is possible that the products will sell out quickly.

 

What is the difference between the Love mugs in the anniversary collection?

0,3L Love 30 anniversary  mug (39.90€) features an anniversary back stamp along with special details: The inside of the mug features an adorable duo standing snout to snout with pink hearts flying around them all the way to the mug’s ear. Next to it, there's a written confession of love, which continues down to the bottom and is revealed while you sip away. The cute quotes are from Moomin comics. The mug comes in a premium gift box.

The beloved Love mug turns 30 in 2026. To mark the anniversary, the 0,3L Love mug features an anniversary back stamp and is packaged in a gift box.

0,4L Love 30  (24.90€)
The beloved Love mug turns 30 in 2026. To mark the anniversary, the  the 0,4L Love mug features an anniversary back stamp. Mug is sold without a gift box.

 

Where is the Love Anniversary mug / collection sold?

A limited amount of the anniversary mug, mini plate and mini figurine are will be sold in moominarabia.com, moomin.com and in Moomin Shops. The collection will be available from 27.1.2026.

How much does the Love Anniversary 30 mug cost?

Are there any additional Love 30 products to buy?

Yes. The full collection will include a vast array of items from ceramics and glassware to decorative pieces for the kitchen, dining room and living room, repeating the different Moomintroll and Snorkmaiden scenes of the illustration of the iconic Love mug.
An anniversary stamp is featured on the bottom of the special anniversary edition of the mug and the other Love dining ceramics, all available only until the end of year 2026, or as long as the stock lasts.

 

When will the sales start and how many mugs will be sold?

A limited amount of the anniversary mug and the full collection will be available from 27th of January 2026 at 10.00 (EET) from the Moomin Arabia webshop moominarabia.com. The physical Moomin Arabia brand stores and Iittala stores start their sales according to their normal opening times. The mug is also sold at Moomin.com webshop and in selected Moomin shops. 
As a listed company we cannot comment on the amount of the mugs we are selling. A limited amount of the anniversary mug, mini plate and mini figurine are exclusively available from Moomin Arabia and selected retailers.

 

Is it possible that the products will be sold out immediately?

A limited amount of the anniversary mug and the full collection will be available from 27th of January 2026 at 10.00 (EET) from the Moomin Arabia webshop moominarabia.com.  The anniversary mug, mini plate and mini figurine are available in limited quantities, and it is possible that the products will sell out quickly.

 

Are the mugs numbered, or otherwise marked in some way? For example, with a bottom stamp?

Like many other special Moomin mugs, also the Love 30 mugs  have a stamp on the bottom of the mug. In this case, the Love 30 anniversary mug  features an anniversary back stamp along with special details inside of the mug and on the mug’s ear. The cute quotes are from Moomin comics.  The mugs have no numbering in the bottom.

 

Which story is the Love 30 illustration based on?

The collection’s illustrations depicting Snorkmaiden and Moomintroll’s deep relationship as playmates and sweethearts are the same as those of the pink Love Moomin mug, the all-time Moomin Arabia favourite. The 0.3-litre Love mug has been in production for the longest of all Moomin mugs, since 1996.

The motifs in the Love Collection are based on four scenes from Tove and Lars Jansson’s Moomin comics. The warm hug with the sun in the background is from Moomin and the Martians (1957), their encounter on a path is from Snorkmaiden Goes Rococo (1958), and the painting scene from Moomin Builds a House (1956).

 

Buying process

 

Will there be a queuing system for Love 30 Anniversary launch?

Yes. To ensure the best possible customer experience we will set up a queuing system on the site. To make sure the site performance we are not able to let everyone in simultaneously.

 

How does the queueing system work?

Keep your browser open while waiting in line, and ensure you have a working internet connection, and that your device has enough battery power. You will see your estimated wait time on the page. When it’s your turn, you will have 10 minutes to complete your shopping on moominarabia.com.

If your browser is not active, you will have 10 minutes to access the Moomin Arabia website. When it’s your turn, you will be automatically directed to the Moomin Arabia website. If your browser is not active, you will receive a notification when it’s your turn, after which you will have 10 minutes to access the Moomin Arabia website.

After queuing, you will be directed to our webshop, where you can shop as usual. Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email. Please note that due to the high volume of orders, there may be delays in receiving the confirmation.

 

Is there any limitations on how many products I can buy?

There are no limitations regarding the purchases of Love 30 Anniversary mug or collection.

 

Is it possible to reserve the products in advance?

It is not possible to reserve or order the items in advance.

 

There were technical difficulties in the online store and I couldn’t get my order through. Who can I contact with my complaints and feedback?

How much time do I have to complete the purchase?

Please notice you have 10 minutes to complete your purchase.

 

Can I get my products gift wrapped?

Unfortunately, we can’t offer gift wrapping during and right after Love 30 launch. 

 

Can I make purchases using both my mobile device and desktop computer?

Yes, all devices work. Please notice that you need to use the same device to purchase as you used to join the queue.

 

Payment & Delivery

 

How can I track the delivery of my product? 

You will receive a shipping confirmation e-mail with a tracking number. Please note that due to the high volume of orders, there may be delays in receiving the confirmation. 

Are there any extra costs (taxes, duties, customs fees, etc.) I have to pay in addition to the prices shown on your website?

No. The total price is shown in the cart, including all costs.

When will I receive the mug if ordering online?

The mugs will be delivered after the purchase is done, the approximate delivery time is 6-9 working days.

How can I track the delivery of my product? 

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email. Please note that due to the high volume of orders, there may be delays in receiving the confirmation.

 

Can I remove products from my order or modify ordered products?

Unfortunately, we’re unable to add or remove products once the order has gone through. However, our return policy allows you 14 days to return a product.

 

Can I cancel my order?

To provide you with the fastest possible delivery, we process orders immediately after they are placed. As a result, we are unable to accommodate order cancellations. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to serving you with prompt and efficient service. You still have the right to return the order during the 14-day exchange and return period. You can find more information about returns in the section Returns and refunds.

 

Can I change my delivery address? 

To provide you with the fastest possible delivery, we process orders immediately after they are placed. However, our customer service can check whether it is possible to make changes to the shipping address of your order. In this case, please contact our customer service here as soon as possible and state your order number, which can be found in the order confirmation. Please note that the billing address you have entered cannot be changed.

 

Can I return my order?

Yes, for all items ordered from our webstore, you have a right of return and refund during a period of 14 days from the day you receive your order. Please contact our customer service at through Contact us when you want to return your order. 
Remember to keep the receipt and include your order number in the email. You can find the order number in confirmation email we’ve sent you. All returned items must be in their original condition.
 
 

Can I use discount codes on my order?

Discount codes do not apply to the Love 30 collection. 

 

What if I receive a broken product?

We’re sorry for the inconvenience. Please contact our Customer Service at info@moominarabia.com and they will assist you. Indicate your name, order number and product concerned. Attach an image of damaged product if possible. You can find the order number in the shipping confirmation email we’ve sent you. Please keep the product while awaiting instructions from customer service.
We would ask you to send back the broken product. Our Customer Service will arrange for the replacement or refund of such product(s). Replacements are only possible if we have the product in stock and if not, you will receive a refund.

 

What if charging my credit card fails?

If charging your card fails, we will cancel your order.

 

I have not received the product, what should I do? 

Please monitor your order tracking and be aware that delivery times may be longer than usual. You may also contact our Customer Service through Contact Us.

 

Where do you deliver?

We deliver to Finland, Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Germany and Poland. Please select the correct country by using the globe icon on the right corner of the website.

We are not able to deliver to the following: VAT-free areas, PO Box addresses, hotels, hostels or army barracks.

We do not deliver to the following territories: In the United Kingdom, Guernsey (e.g. Alderney and Sark), Jersey or Gibraltar, as well as to the following which do not apply EU Value Added Tax regime: In Germany, Büsingen und Helgoland, Greenland, Faroe Islands or Svalbard.

Please note that the shipping and billing addresses must be in the same country.
