Collection: Gift of Love

As a festive grand finale to the Love 30 anniversary, the new Gift of Love collection is full of ideas for sharing magical moments with the nearest and dearest. Taking a cue from the Moomin mindset, every day spent with your favourite people is a perfect reason to clink glasses, dance on the table, or bake a cake.

The collection will be available first to Moomin Arabia Family members from 29 September at moominarabia.com, before its wider release on 1 October.

With a wide range of ceramics and textiles, the Gift of Love collection invites you to enjoy shared moments in every room of your home.

Decorating windows, doors, chandeliers, or any spot you like with Moomin baubles is a fun, creative task for the whole family. A nice way to settle into a festive mood is to enjoy hot drinks from Moomin glasses in candlelight and nibble sweet treats hidden under the lid of a cute jar.

For the season’s ambitious cook-downs with friends, the kitchen can be equipped with matching aprons, oven mitts, and pot holders. For sharing love with the magic coming from the kitchen, the collection includes the classic staple trio: Moomin mug, plate, and bowl, as well as various serving ceramics for cooked, baked, and ready-to-serve goods. A festive cloth brings the table setting together.

After a happy day with your favourite people, a selection of textiles for the bathroom and bedroom helps you wind down. The bed linen and towels are all made of GOTS-certified cotton.

In 2026, the Gift of Love collection replaces the traditional winter seasonal collection to celebrate the Love anniversary year.

The illustrations create a cheerful atmosphere

The illustrations and patterns on the Gift of Love items are inspired by Tove Jansson’s comic Moomin and the Golden Tail (1958), in which, thanks to his new glowing tuft at the tip of his tail, Moomintroll becomes quite popular. He is invited to a fancy party, and everyone’s caught up in a festive mood, cheering and dancing.

The illustration also includes elements from the comics Moomin’s Winter Follies and Moomin Begins a New Life.

With the green-mustard-beige colour scheme, refreshed with pops of red, the Gift of Love collection suits any occasion year-round.

Alongside the Gift of Love collection, a charming mini mug will be released, featuring a festive scene of the residents of Moominvalley gathered beneath a sparkling Christmas tree.
